Kathmandu, 28 August: At least 5 people are reported to have been killed and four others have gone missing in floods and landslides triggered by incessant rains across the country on Friday. More than 1000 houses have been inundated and several roads have been obstructed. Reports from Western Nawalparasi, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Banke, Dang, Eastern Nawalparasi, Sindhuli, Mahottari, Kailali and Kanchanpur suggest huge loss of property and crops.
