Kathmandu, 28 August: Nepal recorded a total of 1,857 new cases of Covid-19 and 27 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 758,008 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,663 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 710,452 with 2,222 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 36,866. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 370 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 112 and 67 respectively.
