Kathmandu, 27 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,065 new cases of Covid-19 and 25 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 756,492 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,663 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 708,230 with 2,337 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 37,599. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 454 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 169 and 62 respectively.
