Kathmandu, 26 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,433 new cases of Covid-19 and 26 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 754,915 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,638 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 702,183 with 1,929 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 38,384. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 561 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 106 and 142 respectively.
