Kathmandu, 20 August: Nepal recorded a total of 3,042 new cases of Covid-19 and 26 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 744,307 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,455 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 693,543 with 2,244 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 40,309. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 604 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 187 and 107 respectively.
