Kathmandu, 16 August: The cabinet meeting held today has decided to appoint Hari Shankar Mishra as the Province Chief of the No 2 Province by dismissing Rajesh Jha. Mishra is the former MP from Nepali Congress.

The K.P. Sharma Oli government had appointed Jha as the Province chief by dismissing Tilak Pariyar in February.

The Sher Bahadur Deuba government has already replaced the provincial chiefs of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
