Kathmandu, 14 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,624 new cases of Covid-19 and 20 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 730,479, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,259 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 680,815 with 1,320 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 39,405. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 535 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 164 and 96 respectively.
