Kathmandu, 7 August: Nepal recorded a total of 2,231 new cases of Covid-19 and 37 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 712,740, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 10,038 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 667,270 with 1,722 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 35,432. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 593 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 189 and 128 respectively.
