15 former IGPs demand not to shift Police Academy

Kathmandu, 5 August: Fifteen former Inspector General of Nepal Police have called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and urged him not to implement the decision of the previous government to shift the Nepal Police Academy.

Submitting a memorandum to the PM on Wednesday, the former IGPs argued that shifting Nepal Police Academy for the expansion of the Office of the President would wipe out the history of lively museum of Nepal Police and the base of Nepal Police’s organizational development. So, the decision must be corrected, they stressed.
