Kathmandu, 3 August: The Supreme Court (SC) has refused to issue an interim order on the writ petition filed by the former leaders of the Maoist Centre.
Challenging Maoist Centre’s decision to suspend four leaders from the party, leaders along with former minister Lekh Raj Bhatta had filed a writ petition in the SC. A single bench of Justice Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada on Monday refused to issue the interim order as per the petitioners’ demand to reinstate their position in the Maoist Centre. However, the Apex Court has issued a ‘show cause’ order seeking the reason behind punishing the four leaders.
