Kathmandu, 2 August: Some students organizations have staged a protest infront of Indian embassy here demanding fair investigation on Darchula incident and stern punishment to those responsible for inhuman act. Revolutionary student wing of Nepal Communist Party(Revolutionary Maoist) staged demanding immediate probe into the incident in which Jay Singh Dhami was barred from crossing the Mahakali river through a metal cable.
The Indian SSB personnel allegedly dismantled the cable while Dhami was crossing the river. Meanwhile, the Indian side has refuted allegations against it and stated that Dhami, seeing the SSB personnel on the other side allegedly jumped into the river and went missing.
