Kathmandu, 29 July: Nepal recorded a total of 2,335 new cases of Covid-19 and 16 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 690,642, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 9,807 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 650,445 with 1,373 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 30,390. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 597 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 155 and 108 respectively.
