Kathmandu, 24 July: Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal(JSPN) Nepal, Mahanth Thakur, filed a writ petition at Supreme Court on Friday, demanding an order against the division and authenticity of party. On Thursday, the Election Commission(EC) had decided to summon the members of the executive committee for July 26. The EC summoned the executive committee members bearing the original identity cards. Chairman Thakur demanded the SC order not to implement the decision of party split and authenticity after the faction led by another chairman of party, Upendra Yadav, garnered majority in the committee.
