Kathmandu, 24 July: Nepal recorded a total of 2,309 new cases of Covid-19 and 16 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload 679,017, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 9,695 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 641,565 with 2,197 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 27,757.The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 421 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 108 and 86 respectively.
