Kathmandu, 23 July: A total of 18 Covid-19 deaths and 2,977 positive cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. With this, the nationwide fatality caseload has reached 9,679 while the number of active cases stand at 27,661.
In a routine virtual press conference, the Ministry shared that the new cases were confirmed from 13,698 PCR tests and 3,610 antigen tests conducted during the same period. Similarly, 1,678 patients recovered taking the total recovery number to 639,368. The recovery percentage stands at 94.5 per cent.
