Kathmandu, 22 July: The country recorded 2,838 new Covid-19 cases and 30 deaths on Wednesday. With this, the total caseload has reached 7,24,455 and while Covid-related fatalities stand at 9,637.
As of Wednesday afternoon, 697 persons contracted the deadly virus in the Kathmandu Valley. Of the infected reported in the Kathmandu Valley, Kathmandu district reported 490, Lalitpur 128 and Bhaktapur 79 new cases according to the Ministry of Health and Population. The number of active infection cases stands at 26,932 while the total number of recoveries stands at 6,36,402.
