Kathmandu, 19 July: Those 22 UML MPs who crossed the floor and voted for Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba yesterday have been sought 24-hour clarification by the party.
The central committee meeting of the UML party held in Lalitpur has decided to seek clarification, informed party spokesman Pradeep Gyawali.
22 MPs including Madhav Nepal, Ramkumari Jhakri, Prem Aale, Kishan Shrestha have been asked for clarification by the party.
Party chairman K.P. Sharma Oli, addressing the central committee meeting, had remarked that the court order for appointing Deua as the PM and voting by crossing the floor has given a serious blow to the democracy.
