Kathmandu, 18 July: The CPN-UML Standing Committee (SC)meeting has been scheduled for today to frame the agenda of Central Committee (CC) meeting and to prepare for statute convention. The 14th CC meeting has been called for Monday.
Disgruntled leaders close to Madhav Kumar Nepal are also invited to the SC meeting. Earlier, the party had decided to host its statute convention on August 9-11. It may be noted that the leaders of Madhav Kumar Nepal side did not take part in the SC meet held on last Friday. The meeting had endorsed the 10-point agreement submitted by the taskforce formed to resolve the intra -feud of the party.
