Kathmandu, 17 July: Following the relaxation in prohibitory orders, cases of coronavirus infection and fatalities have increased again. The country recorded a total of 2,936 new cases of Covid-19 taking the infection tally to 6,28, 243. Similarly, 43 people succumbed to the deadly infection on Friday, taking the death toll to 9,506, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Likewise, 1,757 Covid-19 infected persons enjoyed recovery in the past 24 hours. With this, the number of people recovering from the flu-like infection has reached 628,243. As of Friday afternoon, active caseload has increased to 26,827.
