RoK raises domestic,foreign labourers wages

Kathmandu, 13 July: Minimum wages of all domestic and foreign workers including Nepalis has been hiked in South Korea. A meeting of minimum wages fixation committee held on Monday increased the wages by five per cent in the existing wages and set the minimum wage at 9,160 Korean Won per hour.

The increased wages would be implemented from the year 2022.The increased amount is around 200,000 Nepali rupees,according to the Labour Ministry of Republic of Korea (RoK). The revised wages  will be formally announced on August 5.
