Kathmandu, 12 July: Several leaders of opposition alliance have lauded the apex court’s verdict on the house dissolution case while leaders close to Khadga Oli, Chair of CPN-UML have slammed it.
The opposition leaders including Madhav Kumar Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Baburam Bhattarai have welcomed the verdict stating that the Supreme Court (SC) upheld constitutionalism and safeguarded the country’s political system. Leaders close to Oli have decried over it alleging the SC of undermining the spirit and letter of the constitution and institutionalization of personal arrogance and erosion of the principle of separation of powers.
