Kathmandu, 11 July: A ten-member taskforce formed by the ruling CPN- UML to settle factional feud has claimed that it had reached a resolution and the message of unity would be made public today.
Gokarna Raj Bista, one of the members of the taskforce representing Madhav Nepal-led faction said they had almost reached a deal and only some formalities needed to be completed. “A pleasant message of party unity will spread tomorrow. We’ve done made rigorous efforts to forge consensus. Meaningful conclusion on party unity will be shared on Sunday,” Subash Nembang, another member of the taskforce representing party Chair Khadga Oli is quoted as saying to the media after Saturday evening’s meeting.
