Kathmandu, 11 July: The Election Commission has upheld the legitimacy of CPN (Maoist Center) dismissing the demand of revocation of registration by former Maoist leaders, who have now joined CPN-UML, demanding of CPN (Maoist Center).
Election Commission’s meeting on Sunday revoked the application stating their ‘claims unfounded’ . The erstwhile Maoist Center leaders had demanded annulment of registration of Maoist Center pointing that it had already lost its status as political party as per the Constitution and the act related to political parties.
