Kathmandu, 11 July: Reports from Kanchanpur district in the Suderpaschhim Province state that twelve buffaloes that were aledgedly stolen by Indian thieves have been returned back. The buffaloes were stolen from Beldandi rural municipality-5 in Nepal and taken to the Tatargunj grampanchayat of India, some eight kilometres from the Nepali border.
Acting promptly upon receiving information about the theft of the buffaloes, a 10-member team led by Armed Police Inspector Yogendra Bhandari from the Jhilimila border outpost, another three-member team led by Sub-inspector of Nepal Police from Jhimila Ram Bahadur Bohara and the buffalo owners went to India and recovered buffaloes with the help of Indian security persons, according to Superintendent of Police of Armed Police Force at Saileswari.
