Kathmandu, 9 July: As the private sector importers who had got permission to bring Covid-19 vaccine were unable to import vaccine, the government has planned to permit other private sector companies and individuals to import Covid-19 vaccine.
Bharat Bhattarai, director-general, Drugs Management Department, informed that the government has already decided to provide the licence to import vaccines to more companies and individuals.
Earlier, some private sector companies had obtained permission to import vaccines from different countries. They have not yet imported them.
