Kathmandu, 8 July: The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 9,320 with 29 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Thursday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 1,218 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 651,380.
Kathmandu district recorded 182 infection cases, Lalitpur 89 and Bhaktapur district recorded 71 cases according to the MoHP. Today 1,286 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 615,613. As of today, there are 26,447 active cases of infection across the country.
