Kathmandu, 5 July: As the Supreme Court is prepared to hand down its verdict on the constitutionality of the incumbent government’s decision to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR), the Election Commission (EC) has made public an election timetable for the mid-term polls announced for November 12 and 19.
The commission has set July 15-30 for the registration of political parties. The EC has stated that the final voter list will be published on September 8 and the election program for the proportional representation system will be conducted from August 18 to October 19.
