Kathmandu, 4 July: The 13th central committee (CC) meeting of the ruling CPN (UML) ended on Saturday, approving a five-point organisational proposal.
As per the approved proposal, party membership should be renewed, and the record be submitted to the party central office by July 20. Similarly, party’s statute convention would be held on August 9 to 11 in Kathmandu. For statute convention, party chairman would prepare the political document; general secretary would prepare organisational proposal; party organisation department chief would prepare proposal statute amendment document; and leader Ram Bahadur Thapa would lead the management committee.
