Kathmandu, 4 July: The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 9,225 with 27 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Sunday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 1,603 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 644,622.
Kathmandu district recorded 342 infection cases, Lalitpur 88 and Bhaktapur district recorded 31 cases according to the MoHP. Today 2,552 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 609,218. As of today, there are 26,179 active cases of infection across the country.
