Kathmandu, 18 May: The Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSPN) has clarified that the party will not join the Oli-led government immediately. Issuing a joint statement Chairmen duo Mahantha Thakur and Upendra Yadav have stated that the party will remain in the opposition.
“The policy and decision of the party to play its role in the opposition without participating in the government have remained unchanged. But we are ready to take the government formation process ahead if a government is formed under our leadership or in the case of a government of national consensus,” reads the joint statement.
