Kathmandu, 17 May: The second batch of medical supplies including ventilators and oxygen cylinders from China is arriving in Kathmandu today. Chine Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has stated that the remaining equipment will arrive in Nepal within a week. ‘The second batch of oxygen cylinders provided by China under grant assistance is arriving successively within this week,’ Ambassador Hou has tweeted posting the above picture depicting the supplies being loaded .
To support Nepali people’s fight against the pandemic, and at the request of Nepali government, the Chinese government had decided to provide emergency assistance of medical supplies to Nepal.
