Thailand donates 17 oxygen concentrators

Kathmandu, 15 May:   Thailand has provided 17 units of oxygen concentrator to Nepal to help in its fight against the second wave of Covid-19.

On Friday, Vosita Vorasaph Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal handed over the oxygen concentrators donated by Thai people through the channel of the Royal Thai Monastery, Lumbini to assist the immediate needs of Nepali people. The oxygen concentrators were transported to Nepal by Shree Airlines’ special cargo flight on the same day and the ceremony was held at Tribhuvan International Airport.   Dr. Roshan Pokhrel, Chief Specialist, Ministry of Health and Population represented the Nepali government in the handover ceremony.

The provision of the 17 oxygen concentrators to Nepal by the Thai people represents the longstanding relationship between the two countries and the goodwill of the Thai people to the people of Nepal.
