Kathmandu, 15 May: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has directed the government to ensure treatment of all types of critical patients during this difficult situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The NHRC directed the government to take effective steps for arranging additional beds with oxygen therapy in hospitals, to increase the supply of oxygen as well as making immediate arrangements for second phase of vaccination against Covid-19.
Issuing a press statement, the rights body has drawn government’s serious attention for availing ventilators, ICU beds, medical supplies as well as smooth supply of essential commodities and services.
