Kathmandu, 14 May: The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 4,669 with 203 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Friday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 8,520 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 439,658.
Kathmandu district recorded 2,458 infection cases, Lalitpur 556 and Bhaktapur district recorded 335 cases according to the MoHP. Today 6,135 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 327,653. As of today, there are 107,336 active cases of infection across the country.
