Kathmandu, 14 May: Former Queen Komal Shah has been discharged from the Norvic International Hospital this afternoon.
Former Queen Komal had to undergo high-flow oxygen supply treatment, plasma therapy treatment in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital. After a significant improvement in her health, the Hospital has discharged her today. Along with the Queen, Princess Prerana has also been discharged from the hospital today.
Former King Gyanendra was discharged from the hospital on 12 May after he was tested Covid-19 negative.
The former Royal couple and their daughter were admitted at the hospital 21 days ago after they were tested Covid-19 positive, the hospital has informed today.
The former Royal couple and their daughter were attended by a team of senior physician and cardiologist Dr J.P. Jaiswal and chest physician Dr B. Srivastav. Former King’s private doctors had also attended the Royal Family members during their stay in the hospital.
