Kathmandu, 11 May: The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 4,084 with 225 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 9,127 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 413,111.
Kathmandu district recorded 2,787 infection cases, Lalitpur 602 and Bhaktapur district recorded 523 cases according to the MoHP. Today 5,225 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 312,019. As of today, there are 97,800 active cases of infection across the country.
