Kathmandu, 11 May: The first batch of oxygen cylinders and ventilators donated by the Chinese government is arriving in Kathmandu today.
The national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft has flown to the capital of the People’s Republic of China to bring 400 units of oxygen cylinder and 20 ventilators that were handed over to Nepali ambassador in Beijing on Monday.
“China will continue to make COVID-19 vaccines a public good and improve vaccine accessibility and affordability in developing countries including Nepal. We wish friendly Nepali people an early victory over the pandemic,” Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has tweeted.
