Kathmandu, 10 May: The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,859 with 139 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Monday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 9,127 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 403,794.
Kathmandu district recorded 2,775 infection cases, Lalitpur 505 and Bhaktapur district recorded 327 cases according to the MoHP. Today 4,007 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 306,794. As of today, there are 93,141 active cases of infection across the country.
