Kathmandu, 9 March: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has directed gas manufacturing companies not to sell and distribute oxygen cylinders without Ministry’s recommendation.
Issuing a directive to gas manufacturing companies, the MoHP has instructed them not to sell and distribute oxygen cylinders to any government and private hospital without Ministry’s recommendation to curb shortage of oxygen cylinders in treatment of Covid-19 patients.
Meanwhile, the MoHP has urged one and all Nepali to engage coordinated and concerted efforts for health protection and treatment of the indigent people. It has also urged all to carry out health safety related activities and behaviours only as per the advice of the doctors.
