Kathmandu, 9 May: 22 MPs in the Madhav Nepal camp have planned to tender resignation from their post to create an obstacle to the government.
Yesterday’s meeting of the Nepal faction concluded that Prime Minister and party chairman K.P. Sharma Oli was reluctant for correcting mistakes, therefore, to topple down him, the MPs have planned to tender resignation en masse.
Madhav Nepal informed that there is no other option left for them except tendering resignation to topple down Oli from the post of the prime minister.
He said that today’s meeting of the party leaders will finalize the decision.
Resignation of the MPs from the ruling party will pave the way to form the formation of an alternative government possibly led by Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba.
