Kathmandu,8 May: Nepal has solicited the United Nations assistance in obtaining vaccines against deadly corona virus under Co VAX facility at the earliest date.
In a telephone conversation with Sara Beysolow Nyanti, the UN Resident Coordinator in Lalitpur, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokhrel sought the UN facilitation in receiving the vaccines as alloted by the World Health Organisation under the Co VAX facility. In response, the UN Resident Coordinator pledged her best to help Nepal get vaccines, according to United Nations Information Centre.
