Kathmandu, 6 May: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Thursday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 9,070 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 360,075.
Today 2,707 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 292,490. As of today, there are 72,561 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,529 with 54 fatalities , according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
