Kathmandu, 6 May: The Hukum distribution, the authorized agent of the Serum Institute, producing the Covishield vaccine against Covid-19, has refused its involvement in imports of the Covid vaccine from India.
Issuing a notice today, the distributor has said that although it is the sole distributor of the Serum Institute manufactured medicines for Nepal, there is no involvement of the company in the import of the Covid vaccine.
The Minister for Health Wednesday had blamed the distributor for claiming a 10 percent commission on the import of the Covishield vaccine from India.
