Kathmandu, 6 May: The President of the main opposition Party Nepali Congress (NC) Sher Bahadur Deuba has flatly denied to support the incumbent Prime Minister Khadga Oli in his floor test at the House of Representatives on Monday.
The ruling CPN-UML Chair Oli, in a bid to seek NC’s support reached Deuba’s residence with his henchmen on Wednesday afternoon and begged for his party’s support to his confidence vote motion, which Deuba denied flatly, according to reports. Oli did discuss power-sharing with Deuba but he denied it too and informed Oli that he may consider it only after Monday depending on how the situation unfolds.
