Kathmandu, 4 May: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 7,587 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 351,005.
Kathmandu district recorded 2,779 infection cases, Lalitpur 601 and Bhaktapur district recorded 513 cases according to the MoHP. Today 1,775 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 287,790. As of today, there are 59,798 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,417 with 55 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
