Kathmandu, 4 May: Finally the CPN (Maoist Center) has decided to withdraw support from the incumbent government . The Center’s Standing Committee meeting held this afternoon decided to withdraw its support, according to Ganesh Sah, a Standing Committee member. “A letter relating to the withdrawal of support will be registered tomorrow at the Federal Parliament Secretariat,” Sah is quoted as saying in the media.
Prime Minister Khadga Oli is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence at the House of Representatives on May 10. He requires 138 votes to remain in power.
