Kathmandu, 3 May: The Chief District Officers (CDOs) of 41 districts have enforced prohibitory order in their respective districts to stem the spread of Covid-19.
The CDOs exercised the authority vested by the federal government to contain the second wave of Covid-19 that is spreading rapidly across the country lately. As of Saturday, 29 districts had imposed prohibitory order which has been extended to 41 as of Monday.
Prohibitory order will be imposed in some districts such as Ramechhap, Taplejung and Arghakhanchi from midnight while few others such as Nuwakot, Dhanusa and Dailkeh will see the enforcement from coming Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
