Kathmandu, 3 May: The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,362 with 37 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Monday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 7,3288 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 343,418.
Kathmandu district recorded 2,922 infection cases, Lalitpur 522 and Bhaktapur district recorded 222 cases according to the MoHP. Today 2,021 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 286,015. As of today, there are 54,041 active cases of infection across the country.
