Kathmandu,3 May: The government has decided to convert the newly-built building of Bir Hospital into a 500-bed Covid-19 special hospital. A meeting of Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC) on Sunday decided to this effect, according to media reports.
The building will be used as isolation facility. The government has set up additional 1,000-bed isolation facilities in private and public hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday alone to render treatment to the Covid-19 infected people.
