Kathmandu, 2 May: The Provincial Chief of Lumbini Province Dharmanath Yadav has re-appointed CPN (UML) leader Shankar Pokhrel as the Chief Minister of the province.
Earlier, a meeting of the CPN (UML) parliamentary party held in Butwal today agreed to recommend party standing committee member Pokhrel again as the Chief Minister. The Nepali Congress and the CPN (Maoist Center) had filed a no-confidence motion against him few days back.
